During Congress 2012, we’re joining the Community, Campus and Congress in the CONNECTENT (at the corner of Father David Bauer Drive & Erb Street) for a celebration of local foods, beverages and entertainment. We invite you to celebrate on three different evenings —May 28th, 29th and 30th— under the same rooftop from 18:30 until 23:30.

Attention Congress 2012 delegates and families!
Visit THEMUSEUM in Kitchener from May 26 to June 2, 2021 and save! Delegates and their families pay $10 per person (regular price is $13). Admission includes all THEMUSEUM’s permanent exhibitions as well as DINOSAURS and ADD COLOUR | A Yoko Ono Exhibition. DINOSAURS is a robotic adventure of dinosaur life and ADD COLOUR invites you to play an active role in the creative process.

St. Jacobs: Evening Tour
Find out why visitors from all over the world make their way to this authentic village. Meet our talented artisans known for their crafts of glass-blowing, pottery, and broom making to name a few. You will definitely bring home a memorable souvenir. Couple that with high quality Canadian retail stores and locally sourced food from our farmers’ market served up through a hearty meal at one of our restaurants. Includes dinner and tours of the Mennonite Story and the FELT lab at Quarry Integrated Communications, a partnership with the University of Waterloo’s Research Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program - REAP.

Heritage Gardens
Starting at Waterloo Park, the group will explore the gardens of the park before boarding the motor coach. The first stop is at Kitchener’s Rockway Gardens, which were planned and developed during the early Depression years. From there, the tour travels to the Cambridge Butterfly where the group will also enjoy a locally made lunch. After lunch, travel to Castle Kilbride in Baden, a national historic site and the 1877 grand Italianate designed home of James Livingston, Canada’s Flax Mill King.
